To be a successful trader, you will be told that you will need to have a clear trading strategy. You will need to test that strategy for a good length of time on a live simulator – a trading platform that will give you the same results as if you were live, but without using your real cash. Once you have tested those rules, you then need to have them written down in black and white – do not keep them in your head.

What an exciting adventure this was. Last week, I created Lifestyle Trader history and hosted an Online Traders Club LIVE from the Cairns Traders Club! We had about 20 Lifestyle Traders in the room, and 27 ONLINE from interstate and international traders as well! This has to be the most effective way to support traders, new and experienced, through their trading learning curve.

Last week, we spent an hour going through all that a new Lifestyle Trader needs to set into place to ‘get going’ with their paper trading. It was great to have someone from interstate tell me I had shown them that they were reading their signals incorrectly. Now they can fix that issue, practice correctly and as Aussie Rob says “Perfect Practice makes Perfect!”
